CLV Logistics Database

From October 18-20, 2023 in Vientance, Lao PDR, General Deparment of Logistics of MPWT, Cambodia led by Director General H.E. CHHIENG Pich, organized the Training Workshop and Exchange Visit on "Development of National Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and Data Collection". This Workshop spanned three days and was participated by key officials from Ministry of PUblicw Works and Transport of Laps, the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, the General Department of Logistics and Department of Railway of MPWT, Cambodia and guest speakers from Ministry of Planning and Investment from Lao PDR.

The Objective of this workshop and study visit were to enchance the capacityeis and facilitate knowledge-sharing among relevant stakeholders concerning the Development of National Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and Data Collection within CLV countries. The workshop comprised of several components:

Presentation on Special Economic Zone in Lao PDR by guest speaker from Ministry of Planning and Investment of Lao PDR
Presentation sessions for the exchange of insights and experiences related to "Development of National Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and Data Collection from each participating nation.
A Study visit to the Vientiane Logistics Park (VLP)
A Study visit to Freight Terminal of Lao Railway Station

At the workshop, Director General H.E. CHHIENG Pich conveyed his gratitude to the participants from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Ministry of Planning and Investment of Lao PDR, TDSI of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, and the organization team, acknowledging their active participation. He underscored the event's potential to facilitate continuous sharing of experiences and knowledge in the advancement of Development of National Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and Data Collection, and to strengthen collaboration in the logistics industry spanning Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Vietnam.
