Training and Knowledge Sharing Workshop for Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening for Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Development in Cambodia and CLV countries (2nd Session)

Phnom Penh, May 25, 2022, H.E CHHIENG Pich, Director General, General Department of Logistics, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, chaired and opened a Training and Knowledge Sharing Workshop for Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening for Logistics Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Development in Cambodia and CLV countries (2nd Session).

General Department of Logistics organized the workshop from 25 to 27 May 2022. A combined count of 60 participants took part in the working, engaging both physically and through video conferencing. Among these participants were delegates from various entities, including the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, representatives from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Laos, individuals from the Mekong Institute, National and International Logistics Consultants, pertinent General Departments operating under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, members from Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, Phnom Penh Autonomous Port, the Cambodia Logistics Association (CLA), and the Cambodia Trucking Association (CAMTA).

The workshop's agenda encompassed the following key subjects:

• Global Logistics Performance Index,
• Measurement and Monitoring of logistics and transportation aspects along corridors,
• Forecasting and modeling approaches for cargo or container flow and other logistics-related costs, and
• Practical exercises involving group discussions and case studies from various Asian nations.
