CLV Logistics Database

Seoul, Repulic of Korea, 27-31 March 2023, General Department of Logistics led by H.E. CHHIENG PICH (Director General of General Department of Logistics) organize Capacity Building workshop on Modernization of Logistics Data Collection and Management: Knowledge Sharing and Exchange Visit in the Republic of Korea.

The workshop was attended by officials under the General Department of Logistics, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Cambodia and officials of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lao PDR and officials from Transport Development and Strategy Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Vietnam. The purpose of the training and knowledge sharing workshop is to strengthen the capacity and share the experience and knowledge of stakeholders in monitoring and evaluating logistics systems and data. Work in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and the Republic of Korea and exchange experiences in the field of modern logistics in the Republic of Korea through study tours.

The workshop and study visit focused on a number of topics, including: (1) Development of logistics centers; (2) Calculation LPI Logistics Cost per GDP; (3) Logistics laws and logistics systems in the Republic of Korea. (4) e-commerce and the latest transportation; and (5) the collection and use of geographic data.

In this workshop, participants have the opportunity to learn more about the logistics sector in the Republic of Korea by visiting the logistics operations location. Some services such as: (1) Incheon International Ferry Terminal (2) Incheon International Ferry Terminal (Incheon Inner Port) (3) SINL Intelligent Logistics Center and SNCT (Sun Kwang Container Terminal).
